Pilates is a general fitness practice, not medical treatment. If you are pregnant, postnatal, recovering from injury or managing a health condition, please consult your own healthcare provider before starting.

New clients

Before your first class.

New clients may be asked to complete the studio's intake information — contact details, movement history, a readiness questionnaire and any required waiver — before taking part. It helps your instructor plan appropriate options for you.

What to expect

  • A short intake form with your contact and emergency details.
  • Questions about your movement history and current activity.
  • A readiness questionnaire and the studio waiver.
  • If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are returning from injury, speak with your own healthcare provider about whether Pilates suits you.
